Canon EOS 1000D is a great, reasonably-priced 10.1 megapixel DSLR which is to compete with Sony A200. The 1000D will join Canon’s EOS 450D at the budget end of the DSLR market, and comes with a variety of features designed to appeal to point and shoot photographers.
